Aaron Bryant, PMP

CEO

Professionally, I am an executive in Records and Information Management, Governance and Privacy. For over a decade I have helped to strategize, mitigate risk and reduce costs for Fortune 500 companies in the retail, legal, finance, hospitality and most recently, healthcare verticals.

I served in the U.S. Army Infantry from 1988-1997, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and earning an Honorable Discharge. Following this, I spent time working in civilian law enforcement, where I most valued being involved with the local community.

In all of my work, I commit the values I gained throughout my professional and musical career. My foundation in the military instilled in me the importance of initiative, integrity, reliability and mutual respect. I believe, through experience, in the inherent connection between veteran know-how and effective artist management. The army taught me essential skills that apply themselves well to management success: dependability, punctuality, courtesy, professional appearance and the ability to quickly and effectively rise to a new challenge.

Born in Gaithersburg MD, I was raised on the Funk and a genre of Funk music called Go-Go music. My earliest memories were of my brother and I playing in the backroom as my mother played music and cleaned the house. Mom would play music by bands like Mothers Finest, The Isley Brothers, Parliament Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins and Sly & The Family Stone; just to name a few. Then came along bands like Trouble Funk, Experienced Unlimited and Chuck Brown & The Souls Searchers that changed my life. When I was thirteen, I started collecting my own music, and put together my first DJ set by using my mothers old turntable and borrowing another from a friend. I added a $50 dollar mixer from Radio Shack and haven't looked back since.

Being a Veteran has allowed me to play music all around the world. Specializing in Funk, Go-Go and RnB, I DJ'ed parties in Germany, S. Korea, Texas, Chicago, Seattle, Washington D.C. While in Austin TX, I created a successful internet radio show called Pocket Beats, that played on KOOP 91.7, and featured music and artists from the Washington D.C./Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.

Currently I am a Sound Engineer/Mixer & Editor for small films and documentaries as well producing the Pocket Beats Radio Show and Podcast.
